-Old Tbilisi tour. The city offers a great variety of sights, most of them very ancient. All the places of interest in the Old Town are very close to each other, within a few minutes’ walk. Tour starts to Old Tbilisi from Metekhi Church (13th century), and then walk to the Synagogue, Sioni Cathedral (6th -7th centuries) and Anchiskhati Church (6th century). Visiting the statue of Mother of Georgia by cable car and enjoying the views of the Old Town. And walk down to Narikala Fortress (4th century) and Sulphur Baths.

-13:30 Time for dinner

-Holy trinity church - built in year 2004, the Holy Trinity Tsminda Sameba Cathedral is also called the symbol of new Georgia. Sameba is the highest church in Georgia. It is 101m high. Its golden dome is practically seen from any point in Tbilisi. The cathedral is part of the entire complex including residence of the Patriarch and a monastery, school of theology and academy, hotel and the complex consisting of nine chapels, five of which are located under the ground.

  • Day 3

Tbilisi – Ananuri – Gudauri – Kazbegi – Tbilisi

-10:00 a.m. Drive to the direction of Kazbegi

-On the way visiting Ananuri fortress. The complex of the feudal era consists of two churches and a castle. Ananuri belongs to the XVI - XVII centuries (overlook the Zhinvali water reservoir). The drive is very scenic through the high Caucasus Mountain

-Visiting The Arch of Friendship - was built together with a viewing platform back in 1983 in honor of the bicentenary of the St. George Path and in the name of friendship between the Russian and Georgian peoples

-Lunch time in Gudauri

-Arrival in Kazbegi-Stepantsminda, visiting mountain Mkinvartsveri and the church of the Holy Trinity (Gergetis Sameba), which is located on the 2200 m above the sea level. Ancient sources and the architectural style of the church of the Holy Trinity was built in the era of development in the XIV century

-Back to the hotel in Tbilisi and time for res

Tbilisi-Kutaisi-Batumi

-15:00 Martvili Canyon-700 m long stone paved circular route starts from Martvili Canyon visitor center and crosses the Dadiani historical trail. There are 2 bridges, 3 platform views and historical 30 steps stair constructed by large limestone boulders. Visitors can enjoy 300 meter boat tour on river Abasha and beautiful views of mountain river canyon.

-20:00 check in at the hotel in Batumi

-Walking in New and Old Batumi streets, boulevard, Batumi Dolphinarium, Holy Mother Virgin Nativity Cathedral, Batumi piazza, Europe Square, Ali and Nino monument, Alphabet tower.

-09:00 drive to the direction of Botanical garden

-Batumi botanical garden-boasting one of the widest varieties of flora in the world. Batumi botanical garden was established in 1912 by the prominent botanist and geographer Andrey Krasnov. The garden is 111 hectares and contains flora from nine phyto-geographic areas.

-13:00 time for lunch

Batumi-Mtskheta-Tbilisi

-15:00 time for lunch in Mtskheta

-Svetitskhoveli an Eastern Orthodox cathedral located in the historic town of Mtskheta. A masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages, Svetitskhoveli is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. You will have an opportunity to buy Georgian handmade Souvenirs

-18:00 Jvari monastery-It is a sixth century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta, stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta, which was formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Iberia. Along with other historic structuregs of Mtskheta, it is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO

Tbilisi – Sighnagi – Tbilisi

-Visiting Twins wine cellar in Napareuli - was established by twin brothers Gia and Gela Gamtkitsulashvili. The company is oriented on Kakhetian method of wine production and follows family traditions of wine making. The museum complex consists of an 8-meter qvevri (wine jug) and several halls, which describe the complete process of producing qvevri (jugs) and aging wines in them. The most significant part of the museum is three cut 500-liter qvevris with a glass wall. Thus, guests have the opportunity to observe the complete process of aging wine in qvevri - grape pressing, fermentation, self-purification, natural filtration, the formation of wine and chacha, etc.

-Wine degustation, wine museum tour, Lunch & Participation in grape harvesting and making wine.

-Visiting Alaverdi - one of the most important medieval monuments in all of Georgia. It was built in the beginning of the 11th century, and was one of the tallest buildings of its time (and the tallest religious building in Georgia until 2004). The cathedral was built on the spot of the smaller Church of St George, and the current cathedral is also dedicated to him

-Back to Tbilisi and overnight

General Terms & Conditions

  1. For tour reservation and final confirmation 30% of the tour price (prepayment) should be transferred to Discover Georgia’s bank account within one week of booking.
  2. 30% of prepayment if non-refundable in case of tour cancellation.
  3. The remaining 70% have to be paid 1 month before the tour start date.

Tour cancellation policy:

  1. Cancellations received 1 months (or more) prior to tour start date will incur a penalty of 30% per person.
  2. Cancellations received within 1 month of the tour start date will incur a penalty of 50% per person.
  3. Cancellations received within 14 days (or less) of the tour start date or no show will incur a penalty of 100% per person.
  4. In case of non-use of the service or non-appearance for the tour, the amount paid is not refundable.
